Help / Articles and your site
Add your site: how articles are written, reviewed and published
Give Fullturn your web address and it writes articles for your site. Every article is checked against sources before it can go live, and you choose how much a person must approve.
Add the site
- On Home, enter your website address in the Get set up card, or add it under Content, Settings.
- Fullturn reads the site. If it cannot, it says so and you can press Read my site again. Check the address is public and spelled correctly.
- Choose where articles go live: your WordPress site with the Fullturn plugin installed, or a site hosted by Fullturn. Until one is connected, articles are written but stay in Fullturn.
How an article is written and checked
- Fullturn picks a topic, writes a draft, and scores it for quality.
- A fact-check compares the claims with sources. Articles may link only to official sources: government, regulators, free zone authorities, chambers, the central bank and international institutions. They never name a competitor.
- If a claim has no source, Fullturn searches for one. If it still cannot confirm it, the article is held or flagged, depending on your fact-check setting below.
Publishing mode
Set this under Content, Settings, Publishing.
- Manual. Nothing is published unless you press Publish on the article.
- Review queue. Every finished article waits for your approval. Nothing reaches the live site until you approve that article.
- Automatic. Articles pass the quality checks, wait for your review, and publish by themselves if you do not approve them before the review window ends. You set the review window in hours.
- At most 10 articles go live per site per day, whatever the mode.
Fact-check: Hold or Publish anyway
- Hold until confirmed (the default). An article waits until every claim is confirmed or an editor approves it.
- Publish anyway. Articles go live on schedule even when a claim cannot be confirmed. You see a note in Fullturn, such as Fact-check could not confirm, and nothing on your site.
- Only an owner or admin can change this, and the setting records who changed it and when.
What Needs you means
Needs you counts the articles that wait for a person: those in review, and those the system approved that you have not. An article that will publish by itself when its review window ends is not counted, because it is on its way. Open it from the Content overview or the Articles list to read it, edit it, and approve or reject it.
When you approve an article, it ends in the approved state and Fullturn carries on from there. If something outside Fullturn stops it, the article says what and what to do.
